Artist Biography
I grew up in the projects north of New York City, where an interest in
the arts wasn’t much of an advantage. Despite these surroundings I
nurtured my talent with my own resources, opening a pottery studio the
year of my high school graduation. In 1991 I moved to Syracuse. I sought
employment with culturally engaged institutions like the Open Hand
Puppet Theater, where I worked as prop builder, musician and performer
and traveled with the troupe across Siberia. I am currently employed by
the Syracuse Cultural Workers. My artwork has been exhibited recently at the National Watercolor Show in Old Forge, NY.
